Meritor India Rewards Program Terms & Conditions

Definitions:
In these terms and conditions, unless the context specifies otherwise:
  • Meritor India Rewards Program is a rewards and relationship program providing rewards and other benefits to all registered retailers and mechanics associated with Meritor and its Service Partners
  • 'Service Partners' shall mean the implementation agency and other in-house or contract service providers
  • 'Member' or ‘Participant’ means a retailer or a mechanic who have registered himself in the Meritor India Rewards Program successfully, their account is activated and their Membership status is tagged as “Online”
  • Points or Loyalty Points or 'Reward Points' shall mean the Points earned by a participant on the purchase of Meritor Genuine Parts
  • 'Rewards' are the gifts offered by Meritor India Rewards Program, from time to time at its sole discretion, to Participants of the Meritor India Rewards Program against redemption of Points earned & accumulated by participants themselves

General:
1) The benefits of Meritor India Rewards Program for the Participants associated with the program are offered at the sole discretion of Meritor India
2) Membership is offered in the name of individual Participants & not in the name of the organization they represent
3) Any change in the name, address, constitution or any other information in regards to the Participants must be notified to Meritor India Sales representative (ASM) in writing at the earliest over email
4) Meritor India reserves the right to refuse and cancel Membership to the program without disclosing any reason and without prior notification
5) The Participants permits and authorises Meritor and its Service Partners to use their data for administrative research, communication and marketing purposes
6) Meritor reserves the right to withhold benefits or terminate the Membership of Participant(s) if the he breaches the terms and conditions of this program mentioned here or communicated on timely basis to its participants via different communication channels. Upon such termination, all benefits standing to the credit of the Participants shall be lost without entitlement to any compensation and the Participants shall not be eligible for future Membership.
7) The program does not have any pre-determined date of termination and shall be in force until Meritor India at its sole discretion terminates the program
8) Coupons Issued by Meritor India contains validity of 3 years (36 months) from the date of coupon issued. If any coupon claimed which is older than 3 years will be expired and no reward points to be awarded to participant.
9) Meritor India reserves the right to add, modify, delete or otherwise change the terms and conditions, reward options, points and point value
10) Participants shall be responsible to be aware of the updated / latest program rules
11) The program and any benefit, offering or the like relating to the program shall not constitute or deemed to constitute a contract or otherwise establish a contractual relationship and/or legal relationship/obligation between Meritor and any Participants.
12) All communication and benefits shall be sent by mail or handed over to Participants at the address existing with Meritor India. Meritor India and / or its service partners shall not be liable for the failure of any communication to reach the Participants, it shall be the responsibility for the Participants to inform Meritor India about any change in address and Meritor India or its appointed service providers bears no responsibility for communication lost or not received.
13) The terms and conditions mentioned herein, in a language other than English, is solely for the purpose of convenience and in case of any dispute regarding the same, the terms and conditions printed in English will be final and binding and will prevail over the terms and conditions printed in any other language.

Reward and Benefits:
1) The pictures of the rewards shown in the reward catalogue may differ from the actual items / products. The pictures in the reward catalogue are for illustrative purposes only. The model numbers and point values of the rewards are subject to change at the discretion on Meritor India and its service providers.
2) The rewards in the reward catalogue are indicative and subject to change during redemption
3) Rewards can only be claimed for the value of points earned or available during redemption
4) All Participants who are enrolled into the Meritor India Rewards Program by Meritor India are entitled to earn points which can be redeemed for rewards that will be sent to the Participants in accordance with the terms and conditions specified.
5) The rewards redeemed by SMS or by program website or program mobile application will be sent to the mailing address as currently existing in the Meritor database or as specified in the registration form.
6) Points issued in the Meritor India Rewards Program have no monetary value and cannot be sold or transferred by Participants in any manner at any point of time or be redeemed for cash. These points may only be exchanged for rewards offered through Meritor India Rewards Program.
7) Rewards and benefits will be delivered to Participant's address only and cannot be delivered to any other address.
8) No cash top-up or cash reimbursement for points or benefits shall be given at any time.
9) In case of death of a Participant, benefits will not accrue to legal heir or any other family Participants.
10) Selection of rewards and benefits is and will be at the sole discretion of Meritor India. They are liable to change without prior notice.
11) Meritor India holds out no warranty and makes no representation (whether expressed or implied) about the goods and / or services manufactured / supplied by third parties that are offered as benefits to Participants of the program in case if they are defective / deficient in any manner.
12) Meritor India does not accept responsibility for any delay in delivery of benefits.
13) Meritor India does not take responsibility for rewards that are stolen, damaged or lost in transit before delivery to the Participants.
14) All benefits offered by Meritor India are on a best effort basis. In case a Participant is not offered a particular benefit or if Meritor India does not make a particular benefit available, Meritor India will not be liable to compensate in any way.
15) All rewards are subject to product availability at the time of redemption
16) The points earned by Participants are valid till they are Participants of Meritor India Rewards Program. In case of termination of Membership, irrespective of reason for termination, all points shall lapse/ expire.
17) No purchase / sale / transfer of points or benefits are permitted. The Participants can only earn points as per the conditions specified in the program.
18) The rewards mentioned cannot be exchanged for cash
19) Meritor India shall not be held liable for any deficiencies or material defects in the rewards or prizes offered. Warranty of the rewards are the liability of the manufacturer as per the terms mentioned in the warranty card
20) Points equivalent to the rewards redeemed will be deducted from the Participant’s account
21) Brand names, logos, trademarks, used herein remain the property of their respective owners. The images shown in the catalogue are only for illustration purpose.
22) The description and sizes displayed in the reward catalogue are approximate and may vary.
23) We endeavour to deliver the rewards as soon as possible. The standard delivery time is 30 working days from the date of redemption
24) Damaged/Defective Reward:
a. In case the reward received is damaged / defective; Participants has to report the matter to the program helpdesk within 2 working days from the date of delivery. An inspection of the damaged product will be initiated within 7 working days of receiving the notification. Replacement item will be dispatched within 7 working days post completion of the inspection.
b. In case of damage / defect reported beyond the agreed timeline of 2 working days, it will be resolved on a case to case basis. As a policy, no Courier Company or Insurance company offers any kind of coverage beyond this timeline
25) RTO
a. In case of RTO, Meritor India to inform the Participants and request them to share complete or alternate address within 3 working days. After which, dispatch will be done on the same or next working day.
26) Lost in Transit
a. In case of Lost in Transit, a replacement item will be sent within 7 working days
27) Delay in Transit
a. In case of Delay in Transit, Meritor India and the respective Participants shall be informed about the same. The matter will be investigated and if there is further delay in transit then the product will be declared lost and Participants notified so that they can ask for an alternate product of same value
28) Reward Unavailability
a. If a reward becomes unavailable / obsolete, a substitute reward / alternate option of similar quality and value shall be offered to the Participants. In case the same is not agreeable to the Participants, the Participants can cancel the reward and points will be credited back to their account.
29) Non-Receipt of Reward
a. Any issue related to non-receipt of reward needs to be reported to the program helpdesk within 30 days from the date of redemption. Proof of Delivery shall be provided to Meritor within a period of 7-10 working days for such orders. Proof of delivery can be shared only within 30 days from the date of delivery. Post which the investigation would not be possible and no action can be taken.
30) Gift Vouchers
a. All gift vouchers are valid for a period of 6 months from the date of issue or as mentioned on the voucher. Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash or extended beyond validity. They can be redeemed only at stores mentioned in actual voucher.
31) Installation Process
a. For installation of LED/LCD/AC/Cycle etc., please contact the Customer Service desk of the respective brand and arrange for the same. Any cost for installation will have to be borne by the Participants and paid directly to the brand
32) Insurance, registration charges and all applicable taxes for vehicles (2 and 4 wheeler) shall be borne by the Participants.
